Is it possible to have a 3x3 wall? or are they fixed to 1x1?

besides it would clog up the AI base,

a 3x3 wall could just be a non-c4 able concrete structure i.e. a hedgehog.

well it would be logical for lasers or shells to just bypass such defences but it would slow down enemy movement or whatever.
