Stupid update Question !
Sorry for opening a new topic but i was wondering what are the files the the updater "updates" ?
Because i have some problems with file downloading and i'm unable to download anything ( the update for a friend ) and i want to give hime the updated files without giving him all my RA2/YR directory.
Oh and by the way by Yuri/RA2 are updated !!

You don't have to be sorry for opening up a new thread. You'd only have to be sorry if you asked a dumb question, or a question that has been answered already...
I guess we can't say what exactly gets updated by the patch, because the information given by the patch is very generic...the simple information "Updating... ra2md.mix" could mean it's only adding one SHP-file, but you'd still need to copy the whole thing...
I can say gamemd.exe and expandmd01.mix for sure, but I fear you either have to copy everything, or get your friend the patch. Which leads me to another point: If your game is updated, why don't you have the patch? :rockbrow:

Correct.
It also mentions ra2md.exe in the patch file, but I'm not sure if it gets updated or just used as a file location when a registry is screwed.

I have the game updated !
My friend does not !
And i no longer have the patch because i erased it !!
So there's no other way than to give him my entire Game directory (RA2Yr) ??
