Gahh. The monkey flies, but does not chronoshift. It is the banana that chronoshifts, which is admittedly a paradox because why must a chronoshifted banana be thrown?

It is obvious you are not familiar with the laws of time-travel.
Had you watched Back to the Future, you'd know that a device engaged in any kind of time-travel (and something chrono-shifting is, as the name implies, essentially time-traveling) must reach a certain speed in order for it's flux capacitor to work. While this is around 88 mph for a full-scale DeLorean, it is obvious that a simple banana needs a lot less energy in order to be phased. This minimal amount of speed/energy can be reached by throwing. This minimal amount of energy used is also the reason why the banana does not leave a trail of fire behind. So, as you can see, it is essential for a chrono-shifting banana to be thrown, otherwise it wouldn't be chrono-shifting. While there have been experiments to use mortars to accelerate the bananas to even higher speeds, it seems like we first have to finish developement of the Banana Mk. II with advanced kevlar armoring in order for it to withstand the stress put on it by modern-day explosives, before we can successfully chrono-shift a mortared banana. This technique, however, would allow bananas to shift over distances we can't even imagine, giving combat monkeys the ability to shoot bananas in one base, only to hit the enemy commander in his own base.
And this is the end of another exciting episode of "WTF - Weapons to Fear" . Tune in next week for our season special "Renegade and the Laws of Nature – How to build your own fully working Weather Control Device for less than $2500!". I am Renegade Moddar and you're watching DZMF. Good night.

Ye gods what I have started with the stupid monkey!
[edit] But wait, isn't it true that since a banana has a much lower mass than that of a Delorean, that it would actually have to reach a much higher velocity in order to achieve the same energy level threshold that the Delorean can achieve at 88 MPH?

Yes. But since it's mass is lower, it doesn't need the same amount of energy to be shifted.

Nonsense. This suggests that dust motes, which have negligable mass, would spontaneously chronoshift in the slightest breeze.

Hmm. When Flak said "Chrono Flying Tesla Monkey Throwing Nuclear Bananas > Whiteboy" I was unhappy. But after watching that episode of "WTF - Weapons to Fear", I am convinced that Flak's proposition is true.
EDIT: Email me wthigon and I'll give you a Monkey cameo with an elite version too. Clicky my siggy and see the bottom of the site for my email. I'm just generous like this
