Deadalus... it patches the exe... if the exe isn't exactly the uncracked one, it doesn't install .

You're being overly optimistic. You'd be dealing with suits, not game developers. Suits will see it as letting one guy violate the EULA, which would invite others to do the same... with not only this game, but with all their other games too.

The way around it would be for them to make it their own, and then they release it themselves as an official patch. But EA has a large NIH fixation, so that won't happen either

well, the ONLY possibility to keep this legal would be buy the rights for the game, and we all can be 5000% sure that's impossible...

And because there isn't any possibility and I'm not going to say "OK I could improve the game in some things but I'm not allowed to", I'll just continue working on it.

Or does anyone know a possibility to make it legal? No. I thought so...
