A few questions..
Hello people. Ive been encountering some problems in the mod I'm currently working on. could some you guys help me fix those problems?
First, I tried to replace a country in RAYR with my own new country. the problem is that I do not know where to tinker in the RAYR String Table Editor to replace some of the loadingscreen words.
Second, I have taken some of the TS structures and place them on RAYR but I have some problems with the GDI Weapons factory structure. whenever I purchase a unit. the units appears in the backmost part of the structure. heres a pic.
I hope some of you guys could help me out. Thanks in advance!

I have no access to my modding-stuff, so I cannot give accurate answers, but:
- There's an INI-flag regarding the point were a created unit spawns, iirc; search for it either on the GAWEAP's rules or art-entry.
- The string in the upper left-hand corner of the loading-screen is determined by the unique unit originally assigned to that country, i.e. if you were modifying YuriCountry, you'd have to change Yuri Prime's Name:-string, and replace the UIName= on the unit itself with something else.
- For the country-name, look if the [Country]-entries have a csf-entry assigned. I know the string's in there, but I don't know what exactly it's called. You might, however, just go for the obvious and look for XYuriCountry in the csf, with X being Name: or any other prefix.

Yikes, how did you lose access to your modding stuff Ren? You must feel rather restrained right now.
I also feel I have to mention that money transfer thingy while I'm here. You know - the Aid Chopper/Package thing that allows you to "give" money to your allies. I have been working on the SHPS a little - and you may be able to assist with an animation - the one where you see a caged crate turn into a normal looking crate (the cage bars fall off or something). Right now I have the crate SHP and it's pretty well aligned, but I have not drawn any bars around it. Could you do this - or shall I take all the credit?
And as for being on-topic: here's the tag you need to make the units come out of that War Factory at the correct coordinates: ExitCoord=. It's in the rules file, and you use it in the War Factory structure's entry. To figure out the kind of coordinates you will need to specify, jsut take a look at the other War Factory ExitCoord= flags, and experiment a little.

That program is somewhere on my hdd, it still needs a considerable amount of coding before it can go public (translation: I've been too lazy to code anything in these two weeks, I will resume coding stuff when I get my inspiration back). Sorry about the delay, dude, in this time you could have learned at least something about the AI to get you started.
(If you go and register at C-GEN, there are lots of AI (and other) tutorials to get you started. My official forum is also there.)
And no, I have no idea if they have seen the sig, but who cares. They seem to have dissapeared from here... hopefully for good.

Crawford, any more questions? If not, prepare to have your thread hijacked.
@Whitey: My goddamn Mainboard commited suicide - capacitors around the socket started leaking. Ergo, I ain't got no access to any of my sources, and no access to any good graphics programs either. Except, of course, if you want me to help you through MS Paint.
Sorry mate, but I can't help you at the moment.

@Ren: fair enough. You have my sympathy
@DCoder: I already know enough to start coding some AI. But why bother taking a year or so to do my own AI when your program can do it for me in the blink of an eye? So, get to work buddy. I'll be your inspiration. Hail, DCoder! Master of AI!
