Given the fact that "they" (the dead man in particular) had announced a big post that'd annihilate me (while I humiliated his "preview-version" of it), yet they never returned, and given the fact that I recently saw through linkage that Dedman is not gone, but posting on PPM, for example, it is quite obvious that "they" just couldn't think of something to counter me. They retreated.

They just gave up. It's a hopeless waste of time. There are literally hundreds of thousands of arguments like the one we had on the net (that is, Christians vz. Atheists). How many of them do you really think actually changed someone? How many ended up with both parties deciding on a clear "winner"?

Anyway, you shouldn't generalise like this. You seem to be holding just a few people in representation of millions of Christians around the world. A few to millions. Now THAT's stupid. I have to say also that I find your attitude immature. Parading round "Last Christian reply: Sat, Feb 05" in your sig? And other places (yes I saw that QDB thing). DCoder has done this too: he included "The Atheist" in his sig as some kind of cool awarded title. Immature. Let's say that I "won" - that is, you both became Christians. Would I go around parading my "victory"? In sigs or otherwise? No frickin' way, you can count on that. It's just not something serious adults do.

And it's not about changing people (as I made clear more than once), it's about the discussion, about the intellectual challenge and our society in general. Winner...well, to quote yourself: "They just gave up." That kinda makes me the winner, but, as you may have noticed, I did not claim victory in my sig. I just noticed how my oh-so-confident opponents were suddenly gone...
You may call it "mature" to leave this discussion. I call it "getting owned and being too blinded to see reality".

About the immaturity of putting that date into my sig...well, I consider it more immature to announce a big uber-post to own all that is good and reasonable, just to be gone with the wind after the preview got humiliated...

Seriously. The reason why I can put this in my sig is because your side ran, and my side didn't. Your side fled and I stood my ground. Your side moses-manoeuvred and I brought total destruction about their posts.
In other words: I find it kinda hypocritical to sit there telling me it's immature to put this in my sig, and how I behave so dumb, rather than to go to that threat, prove your point, and end it once and for all.

In the moment you'd post, that part of my sig would be obsolete. But as long as the thread stays as it is, I'm doing nothing but reflecting reality.

Wow, it's amazing how a newbie can cause so much chaos. Never would have imagined this happening. Sweet, I caused chaos. I'm supposed to be catholic, don't go to church, but I believe in God, and Jesus, I even believe in evolution and the Big Bang.

Why can't we just all beleive what we want to. Religion has divided us as humans before, why should we let it now in this time and age?

However I would have put it in a different way: That everyone should be free to delude themselves as they see fit.

But I changed my mind, because I have come to the conclusion that those who substitute faith for rational thought are potentially dangerous.
