Or just listen to Flak. There is no WAY you can just waltz in to this forum and "request a mod". This forum is not for that. It's for helping out modders of RA2/Yuri's Revenge and for the general discussion of RA2/YR editing.

If a Transformers mod really floats your boat, just go ahead and make it yourself.

You know what would make a great mod? Killzone. Yeah, I know it would take forever, but the mere thought of taking out Legions of Helghast makes me giddy. Sorry bout that. (WingDingo deletes giddy from own vocabulary.) Helghast Rule!

Why would it make a great mod for this RTS game? Just because you like the totally unrelated PS2 FPS game? Killzone sucks anyway. Deny me at your own risk.

Are you a Halo Person? Yeah, I have no X-box, so you know why I have Killzone instead. Don't get me wrong, it has lots of problems, but it is the best shooter to walk the PS2. It's a shame thet couldn't have fixed these things ore just waited and made it for PS3. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and there's freedom of speech. It don't bug me. You could make a Halo mod, but HaloGen is already for Generals.

There is no "Halo" person or "Killzone" in my gaming life.

I am a 1337 retro gamer, and I have probably been playing games constantly since before you even existed. Back then, gaming was still seen as a nerd thing. Now that gaming has gone mainstream, we get all these n00bs who couldn't tell a good game from a bad game to save their grannies. Lemmie guess, the first console you ever played was the original Playsation...

Just because there is Halo on Xbox does not mean you must own a totally unrelated game on another console. Mainstream has forced you to see Killzone and Halo as the FPS games of choice for 2 rivalling consoles. "Mainstream" as you know it is simply a POS in the face of "true" gaming. Do not fall for marketing... play games because of their quality, not because some media propaganda waves them in your uninformed face...

Facts: Halo is good, but nothing groundbreaking. Killzone is a barely average game that is not worth owning. There are much more, better games out there. The best FPS on the PS2 IS Timesplitters 3. Other excellent games that n00bs such as yourself are completely oblivios to are ICO and Eternal Darkness (just selected completely randomly off the top of my head). Do you own these games? Have you even HEARD of them? Trust me, if you have played such quality games then you would be a much more avid gamer than you currently are, what with being satisfied with bloody KILLZONE.

Personally, I do not play Halo at all. I play UT2004, HL2 and Doom 3 sometimes. Also Metroid Prime 2 Echoes, if you count that as a FPS.

End of rant. Do you regret publicly shaming yourself with your opinion now?

First of all sir, believe it or not, my first system was the Super NES, I have been playing games since I was about six maybe. I still have the poor thing. I grew up with Nintendo. I know what good gaming is. I have played Hogs of War, Seek and Destroy, CNC 64, Metal Arms (Have you heard of that?) Both Advance Wars, SSB, SSBM, Pikmin, StarCraft, Super Mario World, WarCraft III, Tib Sun, Armored Core, THOZ: Ocarina of Time. If I had an Xbox, and a better comp, I bet I would be much more an avid gamer. You must not like constantly talking to noobs, so just stop talking to us. You say we should know better, and maybe you're right. But don't strike down on us just because you are more "avid" a gamer, and a pro modder. In my opinion sir, you are mad with power. Although I can see how noobs are annoying, I wouldn't snap at them. Apparently you are like coach who has to teach a real subject at school, besides p.e. You just give us the papers and say "Just do it." I think that more people would agree that instructions from someone who has done it before, can word the lesson much better than the book from which you study can. And that's all I can say.

Like it or not, this is how we "pros" post. You remind me of me, 4 years ago :lol: So don't worry, I'm not being an idiot who seems to have little time to talk properly to you. I've just grown out of the stage of posting like you do. In other words, I've matured, I'm older and wiser now - and you will be exactly the same is say a couple of years.

Yes of course I have heard of Metal Arms. Good for you for playing both Advance Wars games as well. But I just think that for someone who has been gaming since 6, like me, how could you possibly think Killzone is the best FPS on the PS2? Or a good game altogether? You have a PC - go play some UT2004. Opinions man, opinions. IMHO... my opinion >>> your opinion
