Your mod does not truly have a 4th side, unless you and pd are not telling us about something...

sides wasn't my point, but just so you know, you CAN make 4 sides without any patching if you know what you are doing, patch helps by allowing an extra country to play with.

but this 4th side is screwed, first thing you NEED to do to prevent an IE is create yourself sidec04.mix, after that, simply add more to the sides list, before the last 2.

[Sides]
GDI=
Nod=
ThirdSide=
ForthSide=
Civilian=
Mutant=

then on the new country, you need Side=ForthSide, anything else causes an IE, and then you need Sidec04.mix to prevent another IE...

but like emulation, things are screwed, 4th GUI, Yuri EVA, Yuri score screens and things, Soviet paradrop, AI builds soviet power plants. no survivors or crew from sold/destroyed buildings/vehicles with crew.
these are the kinds of things PDs patch needs to fix..

so its more screwed up than emulation, but atleast you can have totally seperate AI triggers.

aww the infamous cloning bug which is why mods don't other include multiple mcv's or multiple war or barracks (this is useful for an evil game mode though )

you could call me an expert on adding sides, i litterally spent ages trying all kinds of methods to emulate them before i actually manged to create a 4th side.

documented a bunch of tests i did.
