Well I guess you could use an projectile but i guess the technology of an mirage gun would just heat up the surrounding air.

If the mirage tank used a visible projectile, everyone could see where the shot was coming from, right...?

the mirage is quite possibly the unstealthist unit in the entire game.
It turns to fire, it has a massive muzzle flash and blink time and I am pretty certain an veteran/elite symbol will appear on the tree disguse

lol, i am fixing the mirage tank up to be a bit more Miragey in my mod, so dont worry bout that, for example, ill change the things like the rank icon appearing on tree disguise, make him not reveal himself upon firing (if i can......) and also, make a different version of it which i will call Cloak Tank, which cloaks when deployed, and fires a sonic beam, which totally ANNIHALATES infantry, and can also destroy tanks. Plus, the un-deployed version will chrono-shift around the battlefield........really deadly if your opponent doesnt see the tank when you chrono in- the undeployed part is radar-visible, while un-deployed isnt......even yuri wont be able to find it. Also, im going to try to make a base defense called the Cloak Detector, for Yuri, and Cloak Jammer for Soviets- Cloak Detector shows one of those range thingy's for ALL players when selected, and when any unit that is cloaked will be mind-controlled, remaining cloaked. But one question- Is there any way to make 2 units- one is like a moving, armoured (light and Heavy,) vehicle that an infantry unit can garrison inside of, like the IFV, and can be boarded by ANY team, and for example, if a dog gets near it, kill the infantry, and then another opponent infantry can come along and enter it, walk/drive away with it.....Like in C&C Renegade, how all tanks can be taken by any side, so my question is: Is it possible to make an IFV sort of vehicle that can be boarded by any side, whether it is opponent or yours, and be able to use certain weapons when certain units are inside, like the IFV?

most of those your can fix with simple rules ini changes concerning how the they are targeted (e.g not having an attack cursor on disguised units) (most useful for multiplayer online/LAN, as this tag also makes ai an bit more stupid), restoring the disguise function, improving the default tree choice, trainable=no and looking at the MirageGunE weapon stats.

ARGHHH! You guys don't get it! I'm not talking about adding a projectile animation or anything! I'm talking about the little ball of heat thing (which I dubbed "projectile" - nothing to do with what RA2 considers to be projectiles). That ball of heat does not appear when you use Ini Diff Compression in XCC Mod Creator. That's all I was trying to say.
Ahem. Excuse my rant - I'm tired and frustrated.

death, i have several modders that have worked on tribes 2, and vengenence... i being one of them, i have yet to c how this is really done, {i mean zero hour} with a bit of help i could pick it up.
in one of our server from gas, and the other from gladiators arena, we host ventrillo server that can accomodate, alot of people, its ideal for modding get togethers, and the best part anyone whom wants to use it is free, and is run on a very fast server, no lag unless u have and extreme old connection as in 56k, if u have that or beloew, then u cannot play a game and speak on it, or u will have lag.
all ya need is the client download, our ip and port and lastly name

Which game did you want to mod, Generals Zero Hour, or Read Alert 2/Yuri's?
