Default question about cloaking.......

i realize this must have been asked lots of times, and answered too, but i searched, and couldnt find the answer- what tags do u need to apply to the gap generator to give it cloaking, instead of shrouding? and, seeing as how there is a way to make a mobile gap generator, how do u make the mobile generator, and what tags do u change to make it a mobile cloak generator? thx in advance, anything other than RTFM and other than the link to it would greatly help...... :lol: :lol: :grumpy:

Stealth generator tags: look at a tib sun rule file. If you don't have it check the editing encyclopedia here on this site. - - - Also look for a forum labeled cloak generator, its right here on the first or second forum page

Mobile stealth/gap generator: I have seen them done, but the idea is ignorant in my opinion. Leave them alone, they will only side track the purely good ideas you may comeup with.

Yes it is still on this very first page, try scrolling down. The author is psico. On a side note, psico stated why he needed the stealth generator, for some underwater structure or something, but what is everyones obsession with stealth lately? I thought that phased out (phase? stealth? ) a month after I joined this site.
By the way, sorry for not being around in a while, my mod, pc, house, cat, dog, and ps2 were lost to a fire quit a few months ago.

Mobile structures are notriously hard to balance but buildlimit=-1 could be useful.

All "mobile gap/stealth" units are simply vehicles which turn into the structures with an simple deploy tags which are seen on the mcv.

What is so damn difficult about reading?

You can download the file(s) from almost any modding site, spend another thirty minutes searching a different site if you can't find it here.

I know I posted this same question more or less, but I have a half valid excuse; I can only mod for about thirty minutes to an hour a day and IF I am able to get on to this site, its only in random two or three minute segments. (I took me ten minutes to fully type this post.)

lol, what a waste of a post then, eh psico? oh well, but i can search another site, and i did, but......and alliedG, in RA1, theres was the mobile gap generator, it didnt deploy into anything- wouldn't that logic follow into RA2?
