Quick Question
is an infantry unit capable of deploying into a building? if it is......then i will be making an infantry unit called MGT, (mobile guard tower), that goes around, deploys into this building, unable to move without undeploying........sort of like the GI, except instead of into sandbags, into a tower. anyhow, can someone please answer my last post on my New Idea...Will it work? topic? i need someone to answer that one really bad. thx in advance

Why an infantry? We know this will work for a vehicle, just give it a lower armor class with little strength and you basically have the same thing.

you can deploy an infantry, but not into a building, the deployed infantry uses secandary weapon, and undeployed uses primary, couldn't you simply have an infantry deploy into something that looks like a building?
vehicles can deploy into 2 different things, firstly a building, secondly, another vehicle, using a cross between ore miner code, and the infantry deploying logic... most of the tags set on the deployed version are ignored...

well, psico, the reason is- a hunter doing long hunts a such, or as an example from a game, cabela's big game hunter or whatever its called? its got the same thing- the unit deploys into a small tower it is capable of shooting out of- portable base defense. but since it cannot be done, oh well......ill do something different.

well, then i would be making a tank that looks like infantry, which I do not think comes out quite right, does it? because a tank deploying into a guard tower, meant to move, is not really quite what I was hoping for.....

How about the big walking units from ts? (don't remeber the names.) They are a vehicle class and the little one almost looks like an infantry man, well almost is the key word.
