Tutorials,and permission to use them.
Ok, here's what i'm asking for:
I'm making a newbie modding guide, and I was wondering, for everyone who has ever written a tutorial, and knows where it is, would let me use the tutorial in my guide. I was also wondering if you could provide me with a link to the tutorial.........and if anyone has input on it, please, feel free to send it to me.

Why not help with ModEnc instead? One big, comprehensive site is better than a dozen small, incomplete ones...

i know. my guide was going to be something you could download, and i was actually going to ask if I could maybe make my guide a downloadable form of ModEnc, because my little project was going to be more like a help file, with everything in it......plus downloads including the ini files, some of the programs used in modding, and a couple other things.......
and why is it when I click your name in ModEnc it comes up with:
User:Renegade
From ModEnc
[edit]
The Many Names of Death3464
* Death[short int]
* Death4269
* Death1984
* Death1701
??
And one more thing, in my little project, is it ok for me to use info on ModEnc?

Oops...
Yeah, well. It's a little game I'm having. Each time I mention your name on MSN, I replace the weird number with a more "interesting" one...
It's just there so I remember which ones I already used...
Yet, although such a "starter kit" might be a good idea, are you sure you're allowed to redistribute certain tools?

hmp? you mean your doing a do it yourself guide for people who had never-ever modded in their lives? well.. that is something i havent seen here, but whatever, i think you should ask permission to make these tools distributable, and if you do it, then many other people will come up with it too......

yeah, I need the permission for all of it.....but if all goes well, it should come out good. and I will regularly update it when new bugs are found and stuff like that.....man, I am doing lots right now. I'm making my mod; dealing with my grandma's death, dealing with my mom being in the hospital, dealing with my papa being in the hospital, making this starter kit, making a whole game on my own, and more!! man, im going to need a break. But not till im done. So, pretty much I need permission for Dcoder's tuts, the XCC utilities to be redistributed, and the tut's by Deezire, maybe permission to use the Editting Encyclopedia thingy on Deezire, and maybe permission for a couple others......

yeah, I need the permission. Once I have permission, I'll be fine. Hey, since PM's don't affect Deezire, how can I get ahold of him?

You do realize that he'll almost certainly tell you "no".

if he does say no, you could always write your own guide.
