How do you incorporate sounds/music in Bink Video for Red Alert 2? With regards to format, some newer bink videos from other newer games won't play it's music in RA2. Is there an old music format or older bink video editor to convert newer music (of newer bink videos) to RA2? Or this never occured to you guys before? :lol: PROJECTALPHA™

its inpratical due to the massive side, i know the solution as i got ra1 movies with sound playing ingame.

to get sound in binks working, you need a really old version of RAD tools, the newer versions don't suport the codec used by YR, it became obsolete years ago.

i have a version that works with it incase you wondering.

no you don't NEED a new version of rad tools use this, is was from a tutorial about movies

ahh, i figured it out. ya know the part of bink that lets you pick how lossy the sound is? set that to be whatever you want plus a one on the beginning, for example, if you want the loss to be 4, set it to 104. if you want it to be 89, make it 189. it works!
