2000th Post

Yes, here it finally is: My 2000th post!

Now you're asking yourself, "Why did he hold it back this long?". Well, the answer is simple: I had to prepare.

Prepare for what? Doing the most addict thing one of us can do: Becoming a real-life conscript. It was not so much a decision of free will, but rather a question of law, but no matter the reasons, in less than an hour, I'll be on my way to the barracks, for 9 months of service. I am actually pretty sure I'll have internet-access there, but since I've never been with the army, I can't tell when I'll be able to post again. And that I'll be able to have a machine to continue modding there is more than doubtful. Luckily, when I'm not scheduled for any guarding jobs or something, I should be able to get home on weekends, so I'm not totally gone. Just a little...hindered to come here. Well. At least I have a job.

While I'm gone, I want you, especially the newbs among us, to have a look at renegadeprojects.com. I've set up a system where everyone can submit news, and everyone votes on the submissions. If working as planned, it could be a community-moderated news-site for the community. (If not, I'll still put descriptions of Renegade's Projects there

)

For my other projects...well. Thanks to D, I've got a new newsscript for STX, but I haven't been able to implement it yet. TD is clear from what I said above. And at C&C/QDB, ModEnc and the Forums, D has enough powers to smite those endangering my beloved sites.

Therefore, I will now return to packing my last few belongings, and then go off to be tortured by a pack of drill sergeants...:/

I got a gas mask, although we're supposed to call it "ABC Protection Mask". And to those who didn't guess it yet: It really really really sucks there. Oh well. One week down, 8 months, 3 weeks to go. <_<

Well, I ain't got no internet there, which means weekly access only (at home), and we don't have much spare time either. I'll drop in as often as possible, but as you can read above that's not very often.

Behave yourself peeps, and don't fuck up stuff while I'm gone.

Sidenote: I had to sacrifice a lot of my hair and my entire beard/sideburns. I look like fifteen again. <_<
