Default Yuri's Revenge - GI Problem

Hi All

First time poster.

Recently finished modifing the Rulemd.ini file, and everything seemed to work exactly as was supposed to, except now, after the normal GI unit have been deployed for so long, the seem to open fire on nothing, and just keep shotting at nothing, until undeployed or an enemy wanders by, but carry on shooting unless i interupt.

Odd... Did you maked any changes to the GI? Mybe in its weapon or something?

i had the same prob, just leave it alone unless it you own. i had the entire enemy force coming at me once, they stopped to gather, then they started shooting nothing.....an explosion hit one of my men, killed him. it made me freak out, hearing 300 tanks firing and 500 infantry also firing (This was a custom ai).......it sucks, but just leave it. or else interupt.

if u didnt make changes to the GI this should not happen. if u didnt tweak art.ini same thing cant happen. i dont belive its the .shp that skrew up. my best bet...
gee its a tuff one...re-check your GI codes and secondary weapon codes.

its not in the weapon, and its not in anything else either. I had it happen on an entirely un-modified yr, AND ra2. I believe it could be something like pherhaps an invisible lightpost or something. It might be something to do with the ai.

DIdn't edit any AI info in rulesmd.ini, and nothing in Art.ini. But here are the GI info.

ImmuneToRadiation has some funny effects, IIRC (search for posts by "Renegade" about "DESO" to see exactly).

funny thing is though, is that the same thing happened to me, except I had units like Snipers, and whatever the yuri sniper guy's name is, doing the same thing, just shooting the ground- and they were unmodded, or atleast, did not have ImmuneToRadiation on....
