You are confused. When it was stolen from the Allies, all documentation, research, and any other prototypes were destroyed, so the only surviving technology was the prototype held by the Soviets.

So that's how Nod has the stealth tank.
That makes no sense then either. Using that sort of logic, wouldn't the Phase Transport be in Red Alert as an Allied unit? It wasn't. The Soviets did steal the tech, but the Allies never really used it. I believe stealing the PT was a CS/AM mission. I haven't played RA or it's expansions in such a long time.....

It was in a "Command & Conquer: Red Alert [1]: The Aftermath Mission"
the only stuff they added graphicswise in Counterstrike were the ants.

how doesn't it makes sense?

The allies were still working on it, so it wasn't in production yet.
Somehow the Soviets found out about it and stole it. When the soviets stole they destroyed the research of the allied scientists.

understand now?

then it is clear to me. the Command & Conquer legacy still influences Red Alert games.

it was an Red Alert:Aftermath Mission as i earlier said, that the Phase Transport is developed and owned by the Allies but as someone had said the Allies never used it. then Stalin got the news of this technology that the Allies were developing. using Volkov to accomplish his plan to steal, he was able to do so.

and after that another Aftermath mission called "Test Drive" enables you to have control of the PT and of course, Volkov. then Volkov, test-drove the unit in a mission wherein you must destroy the Allied Radar Dome and the Allied Tech Center.

the Brotherhood of NOD AFAIK, owns the stealth tank. the Global Defense Initiative or GDI, has no unit that employs stealth technology.

Westwood kinda mixed up the thin line that binds the past and future. the Stealth technology whoever is the real owner of it. between the Brotherhood of NOD and the Global Defense Initiative, between the Allies and the Soviets..
