I have other uses as well. I can do what I want regardless of whether I can accomplish this feat or not, but it would be "nicer" this way.

tmapm, wouldn't commenting out Action= give you that?
As for Rock Patch, the last version (1.06) is available here in a .rar archive form, just rtm and unrar it.

Thanks for the rock patch link.
I never thought about that..(duh!) Let me test it.
EDIT/RESULTS
- Commenting out Action= makes it just reset the timer, no superweapon fired (obviously it didn't fire the superweapon, but still. The icon reset.)
- Commenting out Action= with a WeaponType= tag left in the Superweapon generates an IE
- Commenting out Type= makes it so when you click the icon and the map, nothing happens... you are stuck with your "superweapon cursor" until you right click.

Hmm, it depends on which superweapon you "fix".
I tried the nuke, human nukes don't return, but AI ones do, but still hit random spots.
Then I tried weatherstorm, and what do you know, it fired. At a random spot. PD's AITargetingType could also be helpful...

Yeah, I don't care where it fires as long as it fires on the map. I'll have to play around with the weatherstorm to see why it works. I'll have to see which ones I can get to work. I'm most interested in the spy plane, but I'll work with what I can.
EDIT: So far just the weather storm works. I am suspecting that in order for the type to be "good enough" to fire on its own, it needs to have built in entries that modifies how it works in the rules.
BTW, does anyone know if there is a Type= Tag that is the equivilant of Boris calling on his MIG friends?

Thanks, I only pop in once in a while so I'm sure it is a treat when I suddently appear
Oh, as a result of my testing (And thanks to DCoder for getting it to work), so far the Weather Storm is the only superweapon that fires just from clicking the icon.
This is definitely neat, and I'm sure someone else can benefit from it. However, it seems I cannot if I am unable to get the paradrops or the spy plane to activate automatically. It seems the Lightning Storm has all the built in information that it needs in order to fire, but the other supers do not. I'll just have to resort to some good old clicking on the map and the icon.
Note: I'm not using this for what you think I'm using it for... so don't ask :P
---
BTW, I know this really doesn't belong in here and I probably should make a new topic, but has anyone accidentally made a terrorist that when built, it blows up right away? I've been trying to create one that just suicides itself and doesn't do damage to things around it. (I don't want to have to select and target something.) Logically what I have should work, but no luck so far. (I'm using this to fix a "bug"/minor error.) Oh, and the unit won't be buildable, but it will be spawned, and as a result it needs to die immediately.
EDIT: It is an infantry unit...

1) different version of YR/RA2 = different exe
that means I'd have to hack everything again from scratch for every version.
and you can tell that i'm not going to do that. do that yourself if you need it.
(what the hell's so hard getting 1.001...)
2) true, everybody has a different problem with it... a really weird phenomena. But at least i fixed the general random crashes and the thing's stable
