It depends on the mod. Probably isn't the patch.

I think Cannis is right. A mod that doesn't follow the games rules usually causes IE with or without the Rock patch.

well i got a saved bug when i ran rock patch and ump 1.02

UMP is essentially a mod - it will prevent games saved without the same version of the UMP loading properly.

As for the Rock Patch not recognizing that tmapm has YR 1.001 - it's probably because of missing registry entries. You'll need to reinstall YR (or apply the registry entries yourself). I don't know why people complain about this so much because if you try to run YR without registry entries you get the 'everything explodes' issues. So I reason there's no harm using the YR registry entries for my installation programs.
