Just Curious - Superweapon Screw Ups
I'm just wondering, has anyone ever created a superweapon that fired on it's own? (Ie the timer hits 0, does nothing and resets without you clicking it.) I was just pondering a thing or two and I was wondering if it was possible to achieve this result and how to do so.
Also, has anyone ever managed to get it to automatically fire (either on a click of the icon or just the icon reset), and the superweapon worked? (say it nuked the corner of the map all the time when you "broke it)"
I do know that you can attempt to clone a superweapon, click it and achieve these results... but I'm wondering about all the other variations (that don't crash the game) and how to achieve it.

You might see if the old Tiberian Sun Hunter Seeker logic still works. It might be used for something else in RA2. Give it a try. You also might use the TS tutorial here at Deezire.

It DOESN'T WORK!
1) Nope, and afaik - it is not possible.
2) I think that Psycho's fake weapons work in that way.
Ever worked with Rock Patch tmapm?

When I tried to install the rock patch, it didn't allow me to properly do so. I clicked the .exe it gave, located in the RA2 directory and it said I didn't have YR 1.001 when I clearly did.
2) I've been trying to follow it as much as I can, but I think his works like a regular superweapon in the sense that you click the icon and then click on the map.
I'm more interested in seeing if I can break it in a certain manner. (It automatically uses the weapon JUST from clicking the icon--not just reset the timer, but reset the timer and the super fires without clicking a map location.) I know these results are not likely to happen, but I was curious if in anyone's experience reflected these results or some variation. And briefly, how to reproduce.

I think the rock patch needs an update. It should be made for all versions. Why does everybody have a problem of some kind with it?
Well, I don't know what do tell you about your superweapon. I only know how to make an third paradrop for RA2. You can also make a Parabomb instead of an extra Paradrop, but they require you to select a target. Ask some of the better RA2 editors about it. They are a bunch of pros here at Deezire.
I think I saw a tutorial on making the Parabomb somewhere. You might be interested. I just can't remember the site. I will tell you if I remember. Other than that I don't know any other ways to make superweapons.

He is wanting to make a superweapon fire without having to target it. I would also be interested in this code because I have a concept for my mod that would benefit from this. I am assuming that you are wanting it to be used on your base? I assuming like a repair superweapon that you click and it repairs your base. I have other uses for it.
