I'm not sure this will work with an infantry unit, nor if it will work for a unit that is supposed to enter another. But it is worth a try.

Give this guy a weapon like the Brute's, but which does very little damage (damage really shouldn't matter, since he should never actually fire it. This weapon is just to get him to attack). The weapon will need CellRangefinding=yes. Make the range very short, like Range=0.1. The warhead Verses= should target vehicles only.

Add DefaultToGuardArea=yes and GuardRange=(you decide) the unit, like the Brute has.

If all works, he should seek to use his close range weapon, but he'll have to get so close to use it, that he hopefully (this is the touchy part) enters the vehicle instead.

:lol: even in ts making the ai do it was kinda buggy. There's only one incident in ts where u see ai hijacking, on recover nod base overrun with viens.

I used to like capturing conyards and repack them, and drive off with them.
If Nod had a hijacker in their base they sometimes used to grab the MCV back.

Yeah, my hunches tell me that no matter how low a value you use for Range=, and no matter if it has CellRangeFinding=yes, it will not actually enter the vehicle. It will either stand on the same cell (sometimes seen before when units try to load into transports) or something weird will happen - maybe even an IE (is that possible with abnormal Range= values?).

My technique works for vehicles using Omnicrush

It's the infantry entering the vehicle that I don't know about.

omnicrush resistant is the norm for hijackers as deezire mentioned long ago and apparantly NonVehicle=yes always worked ..
