Make AI steal cars
game:RA2
If you create a vehiclethief how do you make the AI use him?
I already got the taskforce ready (5 vehiclethiefs) but how do I let them steal a car?

The only way I know is leaving them in area guard, they'll go to take any nearby vehicles.

What if they have a weapon? Is it possible to have a vehicle thief with a weapon, that the AI can use to attack infantry and steal vehicles?

Then their primary messes up - you have to manually target stuff with it.
Oh, and some more observatory notes: hijacking a robot tank is a bad idea

aimd.ini scripting, give them mission "Area Guard".

They aren't going to just hijack civilian cars on their own...

Good point - Tomtaru, did you want this thief to steal cars (i.e. the civilian ones that sit around harmlessely) or enemy vehicles only?
