i was thinking about starting to make my own units and looked around about how to do so and which programs i needed for making voxels and animating them. I would like to know which programs are the best to use and any websites that have tutorials which will help me.

That is exactly the point. Rather than coming here going "RAAAAAH TEl m3 h0w to maek v0x3lz0rzzz!!?!!111!1!", he kindly asked for advice on how to proceed for himself. There is no reason whats-o-ever not answer this question.

However, if you look closely, you will realize that even in this answer, the general theme of "search before you post" prevails.

You know it's a bit hard for a newcomer to understand our jargon and figure out which tools to use...and as long as the're been polite why shouldn't we take 2' to answer questions like these...?It's not like a lot of stuff are going on around the community any more anyway

its a bit hard to find something when you don't know what you are looking for.

even the RTFM link ren normally posts is more usefull than saying "google" to a newbie.

sorry bout that, i still couldnt get the nightmares of my first time here outta my head...here my polite answer if you got 3dmax try searching google for the plugin if not go to where RENEGADE pointed out....(all smiles )
