There is no way to add additional checkboxes to the setup screen, or rework the fucntionality that the existing ones provide.
What IHM suggested is simple, just analyze what DisableableFromShell does.

That mod does not provide you additional checkboxes, as that is impossible. All it does is make ChronoSphere/IronCurtain unaffected by the "Superweapons" checkbox, so you can build them in any situation. Yawn, I already told you how to do exactly that.
The "Go help yourself" week seems more and more attractive ...

and afaik it better under a game mode cos in that mod u will always have superweapons.

yea dcoder, that was exactly what i was talking about, but the only way that you could make 2 checkboxes is through physically editing ra2, lol, which aint gonna happen, law suit anyone?
