but at this point it may be best to start a new thread
guess thats up to goldeagle though
now back to the topic
I know goldeagle and have talked to him more in depth and his mod ideas aren't as bad as you might think.
he hasn't put everything he is working on here, so it seems unbalanced, but if he keeps up what he has told me it could be a great mod....
but i guess we will have to see

I still laugh at the thought of someone apparently able to judge a mod's gameplay based on screenshots - screenshots that according to SoldierofLight do not depict the mod too well.

What do you mean by sterlizing? The only things the factions will have in common are a spysat like building and aifields. This is because I think each faction should be able to use an airforce. The spysats are just to keep things intresting. The Allies and Yuri can negate them any way. The defenses may seem unbalanced now, but I'm planning on adding new ones to the other 2 sides to balance thing out. I'm planning on making each new object have a weak point. Whether its visable or something you have to think about is up to the player. I have several of the units and structures in concept, but I simply don't have time to add them yet, and I'm only placing stuff here as I get it completely finished. However, if your worried about the factions becoming too similar, don't. The units are completely different and really show each factions style of warfare. All I ask is that everyone has some patience, once I get to the units, things will get much more intresting.

Hmm, an airforce. Something that Westwood never did much work on until Generals. Well just hope you can get planes to attack each other, or it my be boring. I am working on aerial dogfights, and I think i might be able to emulate it, but nothing yet.
