Default Notepad Or Wordpad

i know how to put untis on a map, but how i do i use wordpad or notepad to play with the units on online. i have a map that does has all of that on it.

I think you you need something else. When I used either to edit a map, it worked but it lost its formatting, and became a txt. file.

It's not the program's fault the user never took Windows 101.

Larosco, any text editor will do, as long as you know what you're doing.

trust me, in XP, notepad or wordpat works fine.

in 98SE you'd want to use wordpad though since norepad can't open files that big :P

all those tools just highlight or check but if you been around long enough worpad is great for anything system not XP and notepad for XP

wordpad still works great on XP. i prefer it to notepad, even on XP.

I always use Wordpad myself. The ini editor is okay for the ones just starting out. I know, I've used it myself.!!!

But for the ones who don't know, the ini editor gives you a list of everything in the [], so you can find things easier.

Google it and take a look.
