Below is an image of a new grass terrain for RA2, and I'd like your opinion of what looks better. They are both the exact same image, just that the one of the left is the grass straight from the source image, and the one on the right is the same one but it's been run through a despeckle filter.



I have made this Sticky as I need a majority vote rather soon.

The one on the right definatly, to be honest I'm suprised you need to ask, the one on the left looks like different colour greens put on the screen with the MS paint spraycan tool. :lol:

The right one IMO, but i cant think of a use unless all other terrains are changed to suit its style.

Yikes, well, it's quite clear that the majority here likes the despeckled version, I wanted to ask as I've dealt with both for long enough to not make an accurate choice myself, I've seen both of them properly in-game with the rest and they both look nice to me, hence why I needed other opinions.

What about this? The image below mixes it with my new dark grass as well, I've done the LATing and everything. However origionally that pic was from FA2 with the grasses being in their speckled state (left image styles), so after I took the screenshot and ran THAT through the filter. So ignore the trees and player indicators etc., they just happened to be caught in the filter, instead just look at the dark and light grass.
