Default IFV Weapons Question

I have an 18th mode on my IFV. The turret changes and the game acknowledges that the weapon exists and stuff. The problem is, you it won't fire the weapon. Did I miss a tag or did I do something wrong?

what kind of weapon is it? a deathweapon?

or check your Art(md).ini entries for your 18th PrimaryFLH..

It's a regular weapon. It's the Flame Thrower mode.

Already got that for it art.

i have problems with that too. one thing, it worked but the turret is missing..:tard:

I think it may be hardcoded to work for only 17 types...

Why don't you replace one of the existing turrets?

That won't help is why. Maybe I fecked up the weapon. That can't be it because it'd give me an error.

Anyone else? DeeZire? Cannis? Someone?

Well the answer is not so easy. If you built an IFV mode and you do not have a turret, well you can't do anything about it. There are only tags for Westwood-designed infantries. It means the god-damn game code!

This may be a foolish suggestion, but... You can build another IFV.

But if you want your problem to be solved about only one infantry, Well try removing the CowShot weapon and replace it with your own, Or unite the Crazy Ivan's IFV weapon with Terrorist IFV weapon. Then use the unused one. It is what I did to bring the Guardian GI into Original Red Alert 2.

Deezire knows. he enabled many turrets for the IFV in his mod. i hope he is around to answer this question..

If have crazy Idea. In IFV which is in the fact a Battle Fortress without Crushing or multiple soldiers capabilities. How is it?

Just to make you a little more informed, I've replaced the two uneccesary modes already. I need that 18th mode. Maybe I'll ad fvtur18 into the mix and see what happens.
