Default Can Base Defences spawn Rockets?

I'm trying to make a V3-type rocket launcher that is a base defence. I took the code from the Dreadnought and slapped it into the patriot missile, then when I tried it, the game told me it was going on strike.
Anybody know where i screwed up?
