what is the best mod for ra2 and yuri? there are alot of mods for ra2 and yuri. Which mod do you advise? whats your favourite mod?

The one I can edit in VI and run under Fedora Core 5.

In case you didn't get that, your question has two flaws:
1. You're asking for a general best.
2. You're asking for a general best in a particular mod's forum.

Every modder creates exactly the mod he'd like to play. So obviously, the only modders not choosing their own mods as the best and favorite are the ones that suck.

I've got a lot of positive feedback for Purple Alert, and not all of it is me talking to myself.

Also, flaw #3 - most good mod authors rarely visit this forum anymore (I consider myself, bobing and Renegade to obviously be in the minority)

Try running the RA2/YR clean up program first, then launch PA again.

Try clean installing RA2/YR, then reinstall Purple and launch - should work fine if you have official non-cracked YR.
