Did you used an no-CD crack or something that might change Gamemd.exe ?

I'm sorry, this is beyond me, and i highly doubt anyone with an answer will visit this very dead forum.

try seting compatability mode on the executables in the RA2 folder. Set to compatability mode for Win 98/ME.
Other than that, I have no idea. Sounds like a 32-bit emulation problem, either the processor or Windows. Either way, I doubt it's fixable without changing the OS or the hardware.
And, as Bobing said, very few people visit this forum, knowledgable or otherwise.

It doesn't have anything to do with your 64-Bit processor, as I run one and that doesn't cause any problems.
Try a fresh re-install on your computer and tell us the results, also can I get a basic system rundown?

But there is more than one 64-bit processor in the world.
Just because it works on your particular make and model doesn't mean it will work on every make and model.
If my phone had no dial tone you wouldn't tell me that it has nothing to do with my phone because yours works okay.

If it was a direct problem with the processor it wouldn't be saying Main executable for yuris revenge (gamemd.exe file error). It would come up with a completely different error.
Also, if it was related to the proccessor then Red Alert 2 shouldn't run either as they are both the same engine with minor updates. The fact that one works while the other doesn't gives the impression that it's related to the actual installation/cd rather than a simple 64-Bit processor.
Also a computer is totally different from a phone, and given your work on program creation I would have normally credited you with a smarter approach to a problem such as this.

There's no call for that. I was merely trying to illustrate a point, that any device of the same type but not the same construction can act differently.
Whilst I concur that it is unlikely to be a problem with the processor, it could be an issue with the operating system vs 32-bit emulation on that processor. Again, unlikely but still possible. It is more likely an issue with the particular setup of the operating system and related drivers, etc - I know loads of people who have trouble with YR on XP, and I know a few people who can ONLY get it to work on XP.
As for YR vs RA2 - they are different executables with different code. You only have to play one game of each to see how vastly different the look and feel of the two games are.
I equally know lots of people who have trouble with one but not the other.
Ultimately, RA2/YR was not designed for XP becuase it wasn't around at the time.
I suggest trying variations on compatability mode, try updating drivers, and, failing that, you'll have to look at clean installing your OS.
