Default Hover miner

ok, this is a question for the more advanced user.
for our mod we have a hover miner. Don't say its dumb, we ran out of ideas and it is rather good.
but the problem is when you first build them
they get stuck on the doorstep of the war factory, untill either something else comes out, or given a command, like move or go mining.
now its not really a problem for the human player, but if the AI is in a situation where they have low cash and no miners, it might be a problem.

so does anyone have a solution to the problem?

Probably its for the conflict between harvester locomotor and hover characteristics. U know there r a lot of weird things in Ra2/YR.

Maby have the voxal have a gap between the bottom of the harvester and the ground. Then it would look like it hovering but the game engine wont look at it that way. There is one problem that I can see with this plan. Im not sure but mabye the editor will automaticaly resize the voxal to remove the blank area. If it does this, then you could have something like one pixal at the bottom of where you want the end of the voxal so that it wont do this. Oh and another thing, it wont bob up and down like a hover unit if you do it this way.

ps. sorry if you cant understand what I am saying

i think we want it that way, we want it to be able to cross the water like the hover bots and transports.

you can have its movment zone amphibios, then it will go across water.

yes that's what i call 'fake hover', just create some space below the voxel, and place 1 voxel right at the bottom, prefferbly in the middle so it wont be easily seen

u can make it bob up and down using hva animation
