Default Arctic alternate for voxel


Is it possible to have arctic alternate for a voxel ? As in Ra2 we only saw seal shp has an arctic alternate. I've got some voxels with arctic alternate and want them as the arctic skinned voxel used in snow theater. Possible ?

No, theres no alt art code for voxels, and if there was, game uses voxels.vpl as palette, unitsno snow colors dont work thus.

It can be done but only for modded maps which are included with your mod.

Say you make an alternate snow voxel for the rhino. Include the voxels and hvas for it in your mod, and add the art code for it in the art file (say its called HTNKA). No rules editing is needed.

Now in your modded map, include
[HTNK]
Image=HTNKA

On every other map which is not modded, the normal rhino voxels will be used though.

I know it cannis, i have that plan. I want it in skirmish. Did any1 try setting AlternateArcticArt=yes to a voxel ?

That would cause the game look for file called HTNKA.SHP ...

The names of the mix files for theatre makes little difference.
