I was just working on a mod last night and I am mkaing a Mech right now for the human race and I am looking for some people that cold help me out and email me at mikebaglole@pei.eastlink.ca the races are

ok this is the intro type story.... ok
The Year is 2048 and The Human race is finally reached peace after many years of fighting countries in the other parts of the world. Now The Humans X-29 Space Shuttle disapears back from a trip to Pluto, and they have been searching over a year now. They have heard noises that have never been heard, or that even could be described. Finally A scientist breaks the code and it is an interception from an alien race planning on a attack on earth becasue they have used all of their resources on their planet. The Humans all go underground and put their expirmental Robots into the battlefields. Which were a lot smarter than they had thought of them, and now the Robots have created a powerful race; and are willing to fight for galaxy domination.. So now the aliens have landed and have released many darwling warriors to search for resources. While they Mutated the area to beable to build their base...
This TC is based on 3 races like I have already said and that is not a very good intro but is the start of the mod and the races are
Homo Sapiens
- are an underground fighting sqaud but uses buildings on top of the earths grounds
Mechanisms
- are very weak to E.M.P.'s
- have very low costs
Nemisis
- Infantry are very fast/effective but weak
- Don't have any vehicles... except in missions = Plagued infantry...

In 5 years time we have managed space travel to Pluto and have built a massive army of robots which have the intelligence to turn on us..... i think you need a better timeline![]()

it is just a story to get the mod started and the timeline is not really a big factor I dont think but I am going to change it...

IMO, the storyline is the basis of a mod. It basically plans the rest of the mod for you, if its good. It also makes you visualise the mod itsself and gives insight into the different teams and what abilites they have.
I spent about 2months on the planning of my mod for the storyline, as soon as i finished it's easier to think of units to make.
