As far as being built over ZH and having the code and such there.

Keep in mind, the BFME testers that I spoke to all said that when loading the game a GENERALS splash screen came up.

Hmm, well I could be wrong, although it seems a bit innefficient product-wise to build directly over the top of something else. However it would certainly prove useful to have all the Generals/ZH logic in there, especially when it comes to the more important stuff, like turret drawing etc - although I know that's already in there.

BFME will be to ZH what RA2 was to TS....

There will a lot of code/modules that is identical to what it was in ZH, some modules that were in ZH but have been tweaked to work how they want it in BFME (why code something from scratch when you can simply tweak something that already exists?), some that have been drastically changed, and of course a few new ones. The only reason i can see for them to actually cut any existing modules would be to streamline the engine before release...

From that, it shouldn't be too difficult to make a Generals port, but i doubt you'll be able to recreate it perfectly.

IMHO they will do a lot of that And from what Deezire has said they already have somewhat.

Doesn't surprise me, no point having excess crap in your game <COUGH> Raven </COUGH>

OK, if this is TT like Google says it is, forget it.
We at Three Light Studios are going to create Tiberium Twilight as a mod for the Warhammer 4k: Dawn of War game.

The game right now is currently in its Beta Test, but that dosn't stop us from working on it since many of us are in the beta.

Hopefully we'll have a release version out in time for the Dawn of War release.

Really? The Call to Arms mod leader, Sy, will love this. He's a Warhammer nut, in addition to being an awesome modder, etc, etc, etc.

Haha, don't expect a Beta version to be too similar to the final release, this is Relic we're talking about, lol.

Best of luck with that one, but what does it have to do with BFME?

It certainly gives you a good idea of the game mech even if it gives you nothing else
