The game is old, thats the real deal. People tend to leave after a while, some get tired, some think they should move to more recent games **cough**me**cough**
Theres still plenty of people modding the game, dont worry.
Like the title says,is it just Me is RA2 modding dying out? So many people are leaving and mods are ending.

Somebody didn't read the last rant at PCNC...
Neither RA2 nor it's Modding (Community) is dead. There are just more people saying it's dead (or dying).
I know its not dead yet it just seems like its dying. Mabey its just me. :/
Well it's not dead for me, just slowed down with my workload. I still have a new total conversion for YR to complete yet which I do not plan to abandon!
Face it, it's pretty dead. I can't remember the last release of a mod, and all new projects tend to fail. Don't get me wrong, the still existing community is doing good work, but that community is just shrinking at an enormous rate.
- Internal Destruction 1.0, Pacific Onslaught (public beta), Remember the Silence (public beta) and few others in the last 3 months...Face it, it's pretty dead. I can't remember the last release of a mod
And yea, the community is not dead.... it's just people saying it is dying without even know its real extension. It reminds me the europeans in the 13th century thinking that Europe was in the center of the world and that Earth was in the center of the universe...
I released on May 15th - I just didn't make it public, because I wasn't satisfied with the version. A new big announced version will come soon.Originally Posted by ComradeJ

Add new versions of top mark mods, i.e AR2 5.0
Add massive projects in development for years and close to completion like D-Day.
