Default Anyone have any mapmaking secrets?

I know mapping is "easy," but it takes too damn long and I'm kind of impatient...

Also, computer players won't capture oil derricks on my maps. Isn't there a script I need to put into the map, or a waypoint or something?

For different games there are different ways to create maps. What game exactly do you mean?

First off, I wouldn't say mapping is "easy" at all. Sure, it's easy to create a map, but it's by no means easy to create a good map. And to answer your question, you need to create a trigger area and name it "CombatZone". This area must encompass the entire playing area, without it going inside any of the player base areas. The "CombatZone" is required in order for the AI to capture tech buildings and do some other things.

Combat zone specifically calls up certain teams for the ai that arent noramally present without it, if im not mistaken, it calls up an additional 12 -15 different teams in the ai for attack, so it is a very good idea, no its necessary for any map containing ai. if u are using a straight forward online map ofcoarse it is not needed as it deals strickly on ai.

the secrets im speaking about are either something special with either objects, and or any thing with the world builder, other than scripts.

IE waterfall effect using flowing pipe, ice river coming down the mountain as in the prefab mountain avalanche.... so on and so on.
