    Default [SOLVED] Airfield bones

    I'm trying to make an airfield that has only 2 landing spots. And each landing spot should have its own runway.

    The purpose of all the bones confuses me a bit, so I just tried to copy the USA airfield as much as possible. Could someone explain what each bone is for?

    Anyway, I boned the airfield like this:

    Code:
    ; First runway
    ExtraPublicBone = RunwayStart1
    ExtraPublicBone = RunwayEnd1

    ExtraPublicBone = Runway1Parking1
    ExtraPublicBone = Runway1Park1Han
    ExtraPublicBone = Runway1Prep1

    ; Second runway
    ExtraPublicBone = RunwayStart2
    ExtraPublicBone = RunwayEnd2

    ExtraPublicBone = Runway2Parking1
    ExtraPublicBone = Runway2Park1Han
    ExtraPublicBone = Runway2Prep1
    and then I used this airfield code:
    Code:
    Behavior = ParkingPlaceBehavior ModuleTag_10
      HealAmountPerSecond     = 9
      NumRows                 = 1
      NumCols                 = 2
      HasRunways              = Yes
      ApproachHeight          = 50
      ParkInHangars           = No
    End
    But there's a problem. The plane from the second runway always tries to take off from the first runway. And when it comes back and tries to land, it flies over the airfield, and then slowly "hovers" straight down to the parking spot. So what's happening here? Did I do something wrong or did EA screw up their airfield logic?

    how does the runway look like?

    not like this i hope cause i had a problem with this

    aircraft3->aircraft1----------->
    aircraft4->aircraft2----------->

    logical alignment shoud be
    Runway1Park1Han->Runway1Prep1->
    RunwayStart1-->RunwayEnd1
    check the pivots on the model just in case.

    They're ordered exactly like that, except that RUNWAY1PARKING1 is right on top of RUNWAY1PARK1HAN, same for runway2.

    The runway itself is like this:

    AIRCRAFT1 ->>
    AIRCRAFT2 ->>

    So there isn't even a 3rd or 4th plane. This airfield only holds 2.

    Never mind, I solved it. :lol:

    I had the second runwayend bone names RUNWAYEND02 instead of RUNWAYEND2 by accident. Gave it the right name and it works fine now.

    MiG? Oh, yeah. They need a good airfield like US one to allow them to lift almost simultaneosly can almost together, so when they fire at enemy, the attacks be almost simultaneos. In the end, there is a very better chance of a firestorm.
