    Default A Little Update on MJ's Rules

    Hello guys, i've been really bussy with my mod, it's finished (part 1), but what i'm doing right now is modyfing the AI.

    I'm doing well with the AI thing, however i would like to get a little help, for example, i'm trying to make the Hawler heavy transport (soviet's new chopper) to scout the map, but when they get created, they scout only one part, and then they land and they stay there forever.
    I will post the code later (i was in a cyber cafe by the time i wrote this), along with the PICS of all of the new Super Tanks and their description.

    Also, if someone is interested and if they have the time, i would like to know if they can make some cameos for me (i don't know how to draw :dead: )

    When this is all done i will upload the mod version 1.0, and F.Y.I, it's not only the units and the improved AI, that's just like a 30% of the work, i'm currently working with some of my friends on making a Mission Pack for my mod, which will be released on another version.

    This is all for now, i will post the other info later on, i hope you guys think i'm doing a good thing with this mod.

    bye bye!

    cameos are fairly easy.

    you get the image of your units, from a screenshot, or if its a VXL, from HVA Builder.
    cut it out
    place it on a background
    resize it to 60x48
    apply a cameo glass effect (easiest way is to screenshot the soviet sidebar, cut out 1 of those cameo glass effects, half the brightness, then add the effect to your cameo using the arithmatic function of paint shop pro)
    darken the bottom 7 lines(or 13 if its a 2 line name)
    add text using the template.pcx that is, or atleast used to be available for download on most resorce sites.

    Good job Bobing. But lets say you want a cameo of the Conyard from a ground view? How would you do it with a backround at ground level and a 30 degree in the air view of the conyard.

    Experiment with shear, rotate and size (height).
    This makes PRETTY cool results sometimes.

    Sometimes you only need sizing down the height.
    As said, experiment with that.

    Background is no problem at all I suppose...

    AI can't scout worth shit, and they see the entire map from the game start anyway. But if you want to mimic scouting, you can use:

    Script:
    0=48,0; Scout
    1=6,0 ; Jump to action 0
    Or:
    0=48,0; Scout
    1=49,0; Repeat until success
